You'll have to kick out the rear seat passengers and have them fold the seats away just to reverse into a parking space.

"here we have these perfectly good head rests. Use them for the 2nd and 3rd rows"
"what?! No you can't do that!"
"Why not?"
"You just can't! Oh crap it's Steve"
"Hey guys. Ooh I want to make head rests too!"
"Fuuuuuuck"

Land Rover has a history of slightly odd 3rd row headrests.
Discovery 3/LR3 third row looks like the flight attendant jump seats on a regional jet.
The Discovery II's third row headrests flip down from the ceiling.
But there's other goofy third row headrests from Japan. Including the Nissan Pathfinder.
And the Mitsubishi Outlander.

I always liked the ones on the Discovery II, they all look silly but the one on the Discovery Sport just takes the prize.

I have no idea. I have to assume some kind of safety regulation?
